Phyllis Jean Hite, 80, of Grafton, the angels came and swept our Mother to her heavenly home with her family by her side, Saturday, December 3, 2016. She was born in Simpson, September 6, 1936, daughter of the late Fred A. and Grace A. Trader Moyer. Phyllis is survived by her loving husband, Shirley Patrick Hite, they were united in marriage November 3, 2006 and they spent 32 wonderful years together.
She was a waitress all her life. She loved to play Bingo, travel with her husband and family and loved the ocean. She was a hard working lady, and always made sure her family was provided for as well as her friends.
Phyllis is survived by six children, Ronald D. Wolfe and wife Anita, Avon Lake, Ohio, Bonnie J. McDaniel and husband John, Grafton, Charles H. Wolfe and wife Mary, Virginia Beach, VA, Tina M. Rogers and husband Kevin, Fairmont, Deborah K. McKinney and husband John Grafton, Cynthia A. Swiger and Fiancé Andy Sturm, Grafton; twelve grandchildren, Sarah Henry, Karey Maier, J.T. McDaniel, Heather Cleary, Ricky Criswell, LeeAnn Seaman, Heather Ayers, Jared Rogers, Todd Moore, Chloe McKinney, Heather McKinney, Ashley Martin; twenty great grandchildren; three step-children, Steven Hite and wife Linda, Chris Hite and wife Patsy both of Buckhannon, Cindy Hite and husband Bob Beverly, Morgantown; four step-grandchildren, Courtney Vennan, Michael Hite, Tracy Hurst, Anessa Davis; eight great step-grandchildren; six sisters and brothers, Leona Pirro, Ralph Moyer and wife Patty, Donetta Brannon, Carol Boylen all of Grafton, Barbara Hill and husband Don, LaGrange, Ohio, Sonny Moyer and companion Hiroko, Clarksburg, and a lifelong friend Becky Thayer, Grafton, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded death by eight sisters and brothers, Bud Moyer, William Moyer, Herbert Moyer, Audrey Moyer, Geraldine Shaffer, Henrietta McClean, and Bobby Moyer and Laventis Moyer died in infancy; three special nephews, one special niece.
