Phyllis J. Narlock passed away Monday, September 5, 2011, at her home. Phyllis was born December 5, 1951 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Calvin and Joyce Burns Shafer and had been a lifelong resident in the Kalamazoo area. She worked in plastics for many years with various companies and had been with McPherson Plastics for the past two years. Surviving are her son, Darren Kim Shafer; 2 grandchildren, Kylie and Kaitlyn; sisters and brother, Diane Shafer, Calvin Shafer, Mary Shafer; and a niece and nephew.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother William Shafer.
