Predeceased by her parents, Edward Meredith and Mary Jane Meredith (Edwards) and all her siblings, Florence Miller, Gilbert Meredith, May Owen, Noel Meredith, twin brother, Stanley Meredith, Winnie Russell, Ernie Meredith, Noella Meredith, Lillian Kine and Percy Meredith.
Phyllis was born in Wales, United Kingdom and moved to Canada with her parents and sibling in 1927, residing in Saskatchewan, Canada. She later moved to Toronto to work and after marriage lived in Chicago and Detroit and retiring in Florida. She was a long time employee of Federal Department Stores.
