Phyllis Ann Rauch, 85, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Majestic Care in Lafayette.
She was born May 21, 1936, in Crawfordsville, to the late John and Sarah (Rose) Lewis.
Phyllis worked as a mailroom processor for RR Donnelley for several years before retiring.
She was a former member of the Moose Lodge. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting gifts, mushroom hunting, collecting antiques and was an avid reader. She had a love for all music and enjoyed dancing and grooving in her seat. Her pride and joy however were attending family functions and spending time with her grandchildren and supporting them in their activities.
Surviving is a daughter, Sherri Mays of Lafayette, a son, Jim Rauch of Crawfordsville, a sister, Barbara (Cecil) Chandler, a brother, Darrell Lewis both of Crawfordsville, and a sister, Marlene Lewis of Rockville. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Michelle (Victor) Cruz, Missy Mays, Sarah (Adam) Hudson and Torey (Bethany) Rauch as well as four great grandchildren, Keegan and Natalie Hudson, Ella Rauch and Adriel Cruz.
Phyllis was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and James Lewis.
