Phyllis Ann Morey, 73, of Bethlehem, said her goodbyes and hellos, peacefully on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.  She was born in Allentown, on September 28, 1948 to the late William and Pearl M. (Seibert) Bauer.  She was a graduate of Dieruff High School, class of 1966. Phyllis worked as a manager for Delta Hosiery in the Westgate Mall in Bethlehem, for many years, until retiring.  She also worked for A&B Meats.  She was a faithful member of St. Ursula Catholic Church in Fountain Hill, where she sang in the choir.  She also sang in the choir at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church in Bethlehem.  

Phyllis was a loving daughter, sister, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend.  She had a strong faith and always tried to find the good in people and help those in need.  She made the best of  the worst of times and wore it with a smile. She enjoyed being social, loved music, dancing and being silly.  She loved a good laugh and had a one of a kind sense of humor.  In her downtime, she enjoyed watching Star Trek, Days of our Lives, home renovation and garden tv shows and Sci fi movies.  She shared many great memories, stories and adventures from her life that will be with all of us forever.

 

Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Tina Marie Cooley and Angela M. Morey both of Bethlehem; son Michael O. Cooley of Fall River, MA; step-daughter Tracey Morey of Whitehall; 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her canine companion Bandit. 

She was predeceased by her daughter Suzanne M. Morey, May 12, 2011 and her brother William Bauer, February 5, 2018.
