Phyllis A. (LaCoss) Vallier, 73, of Bristol, widow of Conrad Vallier, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2007, at home surrounded by her family.
Phyllis was born in Orleans, VT on March 8, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Archie and Katherine (Johnson) LaCoss. A Bristol resident since 1955, she worked for binding factories in the area, the Hildreth Press and Krueger, Inc. of Bristol and retired from Data Mail, Inc. in Newington.
Mrs. Vallier is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, James and Judy Vallier of Eagle Nest, N.M. and David Vallier of Bristol; one daughter and son-in-law, Traci and Miguel Perez of Bristol. Phyllis also leaves four grandchildren, Robyn and Ellison Hensley of Taos, N.M., Katherine Vallier of Eagle Nest, N.M., Sabra Vallier and Shiana Perez both of Bristol, a great-grandson, Ellison G. Hensley of Taos, N.M. three brothers and their spouses, Reginald and Shirley LaCoss of Irasburg, VT, Michael and Betty LaCoss of Westmore, VT, and Robin and Claire LaCoss of Newport Center, VT; also two sisters, Bonnie Chartier and her spouse, Joseph of Orleans, VT and Judith LaCoss of Newport, VT. Phyllis was very fond of Tony Wilson, a close family friend. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was pre-deceased by a son, Daniel Vallier, a brother, Rodney LaCoss, a sister, Betty Moquin and a grandson, Christopher Vallier. Phyllis will be sadley missed by family and friends.
