Phyllis A. Ness, 89, of Huntington, IN, passed away at Tipton Place in Huntington on Monday, August 10, 2020, at 8:43 a.m.
Mrs. Ness was born on March 1, 1931, in Huntington, IN, to Joseph and Cecilia (Nuck) Reust. Her parents preceded her in death. She married George A. Ness on January 23, 1954, at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, IN. He survives and resides in Huntington, IN.
Mrs. Ness was a 1949 graduate of Huntington Catholic High School. She worked at Our Sunday Visitor. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, IN.
Along with her husband she is survived by two sons, Tim (Renee) Ness, Andrews, IN, Tom (Jackie) Ness, Columbia City, IN; and four grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Ness; three brothers, Raymond Michael Reust, Leonard “Mike” Reust, John Eugene Reust; and four sisters, Josephine Kaylor, Collette Weist, Julie Martin and Mary Deloris “Lori” McClure.
