Phillip Timothy Cochran passed away on February 12, 2018 at the age of 58. Phillip known as “Tim” to his family was born on November 13, 1959 in Denver, Colorado to Donald and Lorenia Cochran. Tim was the youngest of five children and was raised with his siblings in Lakewood, Colorado. He graduated from Green Mountain High School then Colorado State University with a bachelor of arts in history. Tim worked as an investment advisor. He wrote a historical novel and several of his poems were published. He loved the Colorado Rockies and Broncos and camping in the mountains. His interests also included american history, genealogy and anything scottish. Tim briefly lived in Seattle, Washington to pursue his writing career then returned to Colorado to care for his ailing father who passed. Later he served as the primary caregiver for his beloved mother until her death. Tim passed away due to complications from pneumonia after a long courageous battle fighting leukemia. He is survived by his siblings Carolyn Coons, Diana and her husband Stephen Ivancie, Jean and her husband David Waters, Curt and his wife Gina Cochran, and their children Cassie and her husband Chad, Casey, Grant and Rachel. The family will conduct a private celebration of his life this summer in the Colorado Mountains Tim so loved.
