Phillip L. Emery, 53, Broomfield, died Wednesday April 26, 2017 from injuries sustained in an accident.
Phillip was born in Denver and has been a lifelong Colorado resident. He started working in air filtration as a teenager and eventually started his own air filtration business which he and a partner operated successfully for several years. Phil sustained a traumatic brain injury in 2002 which prompted a less stressful lifestyle.
He is survived by his son Tyler, Broomfield; a brother, Boyd (Joyce), Brighton; step siblings: Sheryl Delgado, Bart Emery, Kurt Emery, Shawn Harberg, Denver metro area; nephews Nathan (Amy), Eric (Nicole), nieces Amanda (Brandon), Lexi, six grand- nieces and nephews, aunts, cousins and many friends, including his beloved dog Katy. He was preceded in death by his mother Elaine Emery and father Dex Emery.
