Phillip J. Kennedy, 69 years of age, of Huntsville, Ala, passed away on January 31, 2022.
Phillip Kennedy was born on October 20, 1952, in Huntsville, AL to proud parents, Robert Wilson Kennedy and Frankie Elizabeth Cantrell Kennedy. Phillip graduated from Sparkman High School in 1972. His friends knew him as an amazing artist and a fantastic drummer. He went into the workforce holding positions such as a house painter and camera man & graphic artist for WAFF 48. He then held positions as a graphic designer for local companies like Resta Graphics, Precision Graphics, and Trav-Ad Signs in Huntsville. He painted murals for individuals, churches, and businesses alike. He played music with numerous bands over the years, everything from country to gospel to rock and roll.
Phillip is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Saladino (Kyle Snow); siblings, Wilma Williams (Joe), Kenneth Kennedy, Jerry Kennedy (Wilma), and Roberta Nickas; nieces and nephews, Melissa Krueger (Howie), Sarah Cox (Ricky), Mark Williams, Jeff Nickas, and Matthew Kennedy; grandsons, Brendan Saladino, Ayden Saladino, Devon Snow and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Peter Nickas. Phillip will be missed by us all.
