Phillip Grider, 71, of Whiteland, Indiana passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones on November 14, 2020.

Phillip was born on June 3rd, 1949 in Jamestown, Kentucky to the late John Grider and Haidee (Blankenship) Grider.

Phillip worked in construction doing concrete work for Local 120 Laborers Union. He was also a meat cutter for several years. Phillip greatly enjoyed being in the great outdoors and participating in many activities, such as fishing, tractor pulling, and tending to his garden. Phillip could often be found bidding at auctions and attending horse and mule pulls in his spare time. Phillip cherished every minute he spent with his family and friends. Phillip left his loved ones with many warm memories and stories that they will treasure for a lifetime.

Phillip is survived by his children, Tammy (Duane) Tinkle, of Whiteland, Indiana; and Phillip (Rachel) Grider, of Franklin, Indiana; and his five grandchildren, Zakary Tinkle, Heather Woods, Tori Hendricks, Myla Grider, and Alyssa Grider.

Phillip is proceeded in death by his parents; his wife, Sharon Grider; his three brothers, J.R Grider, Lindon Grider, Gilbert Grider; and his three sisters, Mary Kaye Wooldrige, Peach Pedigo, and Polly Mann.
