Phillip Eugene Owens, 61, of Chattanooga, TN; passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2011 in a local hospital. He was active in the Recovery Community for 15 years. He worked in the Chattanooga Public Schools for several years and loved to travel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ristine and Jeanette Owens. He is survived by his aunt, Joyce Roach, Knoxville, TN; special friends, Jon and Nacy Appel, Ringgold, GA; and Harry Gilley, Ooltewah.
