Phillip Earl Hertzinger, 73, of Newburgh, passed away on October 15, 2020, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital, Newburgh.
He was born on October 22, 1946, in Anderson, the son of Earl and Virginia (Wilson) Hertzinger. Phillip graduated from Pendleton High School. He retired from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors, having worked in production and was a proud Army Veteran.
Phillip had resided at Bell Oaks Place in Newburgh, IN since January 2019 where he moved after living with his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Chad. He loved living on a farm, owning his own thoroughbred racehorse (B Street Blues), and riding his tricycle. He was a loving son, brother, and father, who spent all of his years loving and serving the Lord.
Phillip is survived by his loving daughter, Jennifer (Chad) Pointer; brother, Don (Sharon) Hertzinger and a sister, Kathy (John) Kuerten and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
