Phillip Barry Little, 72, of Winsted, went to heaven to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 19, 2018. Phillip was the son of the late George Henry and Martha (Hooke) Little of Philadelphia. He is survived by two brothers, Dan of Manheim, PA, and Tom of Westborough MA, as well as a daughter, Jennifer Little Palumbo, of Rumson, New Jersey and two grandchildren. Phillip was born on March 27, 1946 in Bryn Mawr, PA. He graduated from Council Rock High School, Bucks County, PA in 1965 and attended the Stella Elkins Tyler School of Art at Temple University. He served one tour in country with the Air National Guard. He later worked for Sears Roebuck and Company. During his adult years, Phillip lived in Philadelphia, PA, Bethel, DE, and Winsted, CT. While in Winsted, Phillip endeared himself to many in town as he sold his tomato plants and befriended everyone he met. .He also attended the Evangelical Baptist Church in Torrington. Most importantly, Phillip knew the secret to life’s most important question: “How do I get to heaven?”, for he knew that the answer had nothing to do with himself. The reason that Phillip is in heaven today is because he personally acknowledged what Jesus did for him on the cross, and he accepted it as his only way of getting there.
