CerelliPhillip A. “Phil”, age 76 of Havertown, on April 3, 2019.Survived by his beloved wife Linda (nee Antonelli). His children; Kristina Sumey (Randy), Michael A., and Phillip A. Jr. (Katrina); Grandfather of Nicole (Hanz), Justin (Jess), Christopher, Matthew, Alyssa (Aaron), Nicholas, Leigha, Christian, Isabella, Kayliana, and his Great Grandchildren, Christian, Luca, Avianna, Sabrina, Reya, Sienna, Tatum, and Dax-Ryan, brother of Marie Cerelli, and his favorite companions Rambo and Mack his German Shepherds. In a hundred lifetimes there will never be another Phil Cerelli! Overbrook, Philadelphia native, Army Veteran Phillip Cerelli Sr. died Wedneday, April 3rd at his Havertown home. To know him was to love him and he was extremely loved by his ever growing family. In his earlier days, Phil was a brilliant carpenter/contractor and car wash owner. After retiring, he basically drove his wife and kids crazy, as expected, filling his days with loud conversations, screaming grandchildren who called him “Pop-A-Dee”, laughter, and lots of good food including his love for fine dining in the city. Being the odd Italian American who allegedly didn’t like Garlic, he lived his life in denial, enjoying Sunday gravy secretly infused with it prepared by generational royalty since birth. Fun to be around on good days, stubborn as a bull, he lived a Frank Sinatra worthy life and did it his way!
