Mr. Terry passed from this life to his eternal heavenly home, Friday, November 11, 2022. Philip was born May 25, 1935 in Courtland, Alabama. He married his sweetheart Lois Jane McCullough of Town Creek. They celebrated 63 wonderful years of marriage together. He was a beloved husband and father. He played semi-pro football. He was an accomplished bass fisherman, competing locally & nationally and a founding member of Decatur Bass Club. He was a member of Decatur Baptist Church and served his country in the United States Air Force.
He will be remembered always in the hearts of his family and those that knew him. He leaves a legacy of loving the Lord, his family, and his friends.
He is survived by his wife Lois Jane Terry, one daughter Elizabeth Terry, one son Philip Terry Jr. (Donna) two grandsons Jeremy Terry (Leslie), Philip Terry III (Emily), one granddaughter Marena Terry, one great granddaughter Shaylee Terry, one great grandson Fisher Terry.
Preceding him in death are parents Bluford and Velma Terry, brother Charles Ed Terry, sister-in-law Kay Terry.
