Philip, 88, of Westminster, Colorado formerly of Sedalia, Colorado, passed away August 16, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn (Belcher) Shepherd. Philip was born and raised in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. On June 22, 1952 he received a degree in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston. A week later he and Marilyn were married. They then moved to Middlesex, New Jersey where Philip began his career with the Johns Manville Corporation.
