Philip “Ray” Freeze, 81, formerly of Graham died at Springview Assisted Living on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:12 p.m. following four years of declining health.
A native of Morgan County, TN, he was the husband of the late Lillie Mae Moore Freeze and the son of Roy Samuel Freeze, Sr. and Pearl Smithers Freeze, both deceased. He retired from Virginia Mills.
Survivors include two sons, Roy James Freeze and wife Norma of Mebane and Tim Freeze of Graham; three daughters, Debra Carroll and husband David of Graham, Romana Wheeley and husband Tony of Mebane and Lisa Russell and husband Mark of Durham; 22 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Freeze was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ray Freeze; daughter, Elizabeth Tuck Garrett; three brothers; and two sisters.
