LAWRENCE – Philip “Phil” Cadoret, 94, of Lawrence passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 18, 2018.
He was born in Methuen on February 5, 1924, son of Philias and Alyce (McNulty) Cadoret. Married to the true love of his life, his wife of 64 years, Lillian (Buote) Cadoret who passed in 2009.
Phil was a natural teacher, confidant, and problem solver who lived his life with great dignity and deep compassion for others. The loving father of six children, he walked them through Boy Scouts, swim meets, camping trips, road races and any activity that was important to them was important to him. He was a man of great faith, lifelong member of Sacred Hearts Parish, Lawrence, and served on various committees until the parish was phased out of the diocese. Phil enjoyed traveling, boating on the Cape and Northshore, golf, bow ties, Dixieland Music, and Barber Shop Quartet singing. Memories of his unique sense of style, harmonica playing and dialect, enhanced joke telling will be with everyone for a very long time. He was a loving and caring man who will be greatly missed.
His surviving family members include his six loving children, Jack Cadoret, Jim Cadoret and wife Patty, Judy Sirois, Joel Cadoret and wife Cyndi, Jeff Cadoret and Jill Underwood and husband Kevin. Ten cherished grandchildren Michael, Jonathan, Jeremy, Justin, Joshua, Cory, Meredith, Nathan, Mikayla, and Damian and three great-granddaughters Ella, Nicolette and Jacie. Brother of the late Alice Lenotte.
