Philip P. Poletti, 87 of Manchester, passed from this life peacefully on January 21, 2022. Philip was born September 18, 1934, in Jersey City, New Jersey. He moved to Jackson in 1963 where he was a longtime resident, before moving to Manchester 16 years ago. Phil was employed as an over-the-road truck driver for both CPS Chemical and the FMC Corporation for over 40 years before retiring. His job took him throughout the United States and Canada. He enjoyed reading about history, traveling, and spending Friday nights at Donovan’s Bar and Grill.
Philip is predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Margaret Poletti and brother, Joseph Poletti. Philip is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Joan; daughter, Michele Brown, and her husband Nathan of Manchester: son, Philip Poletti, Jr., and his wife Lisa of Columbia Maryland; grandchildren, Hannah Brown; Christopher Poletti and Kathryn Poletti, as well as a host of family and friends.
