Waterbury – Mr. Philip Michael Hayes, age 66, of Waterbury, died Friday July 17, 2015 in the VITAS Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was the loving husband for 35 years of Gail (Medina) Hayes. “Phil, see you on the other side – Eat a peach & R.I.P.” All My Love, Gail.
Mr. Hayes was born in Southington on August 5, 1948 a son of the late Philip Joseph and Rita (Manware) Hayes. He was retired after working as an manufacturing inspector for many years and he enjoyed shooting and hunting
Mr. Hayes proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marines having served during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his wife, Mr Hayes is survived by two daughters: Jennifer Geel and her husband Shawn and Amber Pronovost and her husband Jason, a son Hunter Ray Hayes and his fiancée Lindsey, two brothers: Billy Hayes and Dennis Hayes, a brother in law: Douglas Medina and his partner Cathy Bell, four grandchildren: Shamus Geel, Cullen Geel, Mike Pronovost and Seth Pronovost, nephews: William Hayes and D.J. Medina and his fiancée Katie, niece: Nickie Pantalone and her husband Mark, his fur babies: Cameron and Valerie and aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
