Philip J. Marshall, Sr.
Norwich- Philip J. Marshall, 72, of Dunham St. died Monday, November 5, 2012 at the William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich.
He was born in Norwich on November 12, 1939 son of the late John Andrew Marshall Sr. and Rosemen Tooel Johnson. On November 16, 1963, he was united in marriage to Leona Fine. Mrs. Marshall survives her beloved husband of 49 years. Philip worked for 30 years at the Plastic Wire and Cable Co. in Jewett City and last worked in security at the Foxwoods Casino for 15 years.
In addition to his wife Philip is survived by five children, Rachelle Britton of Virginia, Philip J. Marshall, Jr. of Columbia, John Andrew Marshall III, of New London, Dwayne Everett Marshall of Canterbury, and Kimberly Nicole Marshall of Uncasville, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Philip was predeceased by a brother, John Andrew Marshall, Jr. and a sister Nancy Oliveria.
