Philip Joseph Balcom, age 78, of Lake Court, died Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Grand Strand Medical Center.
Mr. Balcom was born June 3, 1927 in Providence RI. the son of the late Raymond and Rose Balcom. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Garden City Beach, SC., a WW11 US Navy veteran serving for four years, a member of the VFW and the American Legion both in Murrells Inlet, SC. and had retired from Tupperware International as Preasident in 1984 with 26 years of loyal service.
Survivors include his son Gary P. Balcom of Hemmingway SC. a sister, June Jeantte of TX; grandchildren Shana R. Balcom of Surfside Beach SC; G. Philip Balcom II of Johnsonville, SC; great grandson Ethan F. Balcom; companion, Barbara M. Kiefer of Surfside Beach SC; and several nieces and nephews.
