Phebe Mary McKeon
Phebe McKeon passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 6, 2018 in Viera, Florida. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Walter and their children Mark, Steven, Terri, and Debbie and her eight grandchildren Phebe, Vivian, Ryan, Stephen, Katrina, Lydia and Carly.
She was a retired real estate broker and manager for over 30 years, but her true passion was interior design.
She was always an active and curious person, learning to play the piano in her 30’s, to speak and write French in her 50’s and master the card game Mah-Jongg in her 80’s.
She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother and the Irish Matriarch in charge of making all family events both memorable and fun. She was also known as the in-house family doctor, and the go to person for any family ailments. Her advice on medical issues as well as family matters was always delivered with the highest degree of diplomacy and love.
Her joy of travel took her all over the world, and she often wore out her children and grandchildren along the way. She could literally see every site in every city from morning to night.
