Peter Zorgias, 83 of West Haven passed away March 26, 2014 in The Arden House, Hamden surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Panagiota Moriatis Zorgias. Born in Leonidion, Arcadia, Greece on April 23, 1930, he was the son of the late Emmanuel and Garifalia Petroulias Zorgias. He came to this country in 1966. Affectionately known as “Pizza Man” and “Moustache”, he was associated with several pizza restaurants in the New Haven area. He worked at Broadway Pizza, Yorkside, The Pizza House and Laconia Restaurant and owned and operated Roma Pizza and Kimberly Pizza. He enjoyed many trips to Greece and dearly loved his grandchildren. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Emmanuel (Efstathia) Zorgias of West Haven; one daughter, Garifalia (John) Topalis of Old Lyme; one brother, George (Panagiota) Zorgias in Greece; one sister, Eirini (Vasili) Sofiou in Greece; and four grandchildren, Despina, Peter, Yota and Panagiota.
