Peter Wright Benjamin, 51, of Glen Allen, VA and formerly of Bristol, CT, affectionately known as Uncle Peedo, passed away on January 16th, 2009. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sheila Wright Benjamin. He is survived by his parents, B. John Benjamin and Patricia Wright Benjamin; his brother, Jonathan Benjamin and his wife, Jeannie; his sister, Liz Carbray and her husband, Dan; and his brother, Tim Benjamin; his 9 nieces and nephews, Brigid, Kirsten, Christian, Benjamin, Zoe, Jonny, Sheila, Nate, and Sammy; his uncles, Emmanuel Benjamin “Mop” and Malcolm Wright. Peter also leaves his loyal dog, Sammy. Peter graduated from Saint Paul Catholic High School, Bristol, CT and was a graduate of North Eastern University, Boston, MA. He worked in Boston, MA. as a stock broker for Legg Mason and in Washington D.C. in sales for Pro Fish and presently was a manager for Lowes Corporation in Richmond, VA. The family would like to thank the Lowes Corporation for the special care and treatment they showed Peter over the last several years. Peter was an avid golfer and a friend to everyone and never met a stranger. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
