Peter Van Horn Judd – devoted husband, beloved father of four, cherished grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 11 – left this life on September 9, 2021 at 9:47 PM ET. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Miriam DeWitt Judd.
Peter was born on September 27, 1932 In Williamsport, Pa.
Under the auspices of the United States Navy, he attended additional advanced engineering courses at the Syracuse State University and went on to earn his certification as a Nuclear Reactor Engineer at the Westinghouse Bettis plant in Pittsburgh, Pa. in 1957.
His work as a Nuclear engineer and consultant in the Navy and later as a civilian took him and his family to many interesting and exotic places.
