Peter P. Toschi, beloved husband, devoted father, and dear friend to many, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, March 10, 2012.
Peter was born in Fort Kent, Maine on May 2, 1961, the son of Lucille (Pelletier) Toschi of Fort Kent, and the late Joseph Peter Toschi. Raised in Plainville, he attended local schools, and was 1980 graduate of Plainville High, where he played football and was an All-State wrestler. He studied business management at Central Connecticut State University where he played football. Peter met and married his soul mate and best friend, Desiree (Mastrianni), sharing more than thirteen years together.
In addition to his mother and his wife, he leaves his beloved son, Niko Toschi of North Branford; his sister, Dorothy Hartt and her husband, David of Fort Kent,ME; his mother and father-in-law Richard and Lucille Mastrianni of Kissimmee. Florida. Sister & Brother in law Lynn & Manny Bairos of Southington, Dawn Baral and her fiancée Greg Ortez of New Britain, and Beth Mastrianni of Orlando Florida. Several nieces and nephews and their families, Leslie Marquis and her husband, Adrien, Sarah Ashley and her husband, Jared, and Andrew Hartt and his wife, Sheri, and William Hartt, all of Maine; James Baral of Boynton Beach Florida, Joseph & Janeece Burnette of Orlando Florida and Victoria Bairos of Southington, CT. Pete will also be missed by many cousins and his dog Buddy.
Family and friends may gather on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
