Peter D. Shewchuk 73, of Holyoke passed away on Tuesday September 14, 2021 at home with his loving family by his side. Peter was born August 19, 1948 the son of the late Peter S. and Barbara (Gaimari) Shewchuk of Holyoke. Peter graduated from Holyoke High school in 1966. He continued his education at Holyoke Trade school studying Electrical. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1970 where he served as a Seabee in Vietnam of which his family is very proud. Peter was employed by Baystate Medical Center as an Electrician for nearly 40 years. He enjoyed vacationing at Hampton Beach, Las Vegas, Atlantic City and going on numerous cruises with his wife, family and friends.
