Peter B. Connal, 92, of Southbury, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at his home. He was the husband of Olwen Connal. Peter was born April 12, 1920 in Flushing, NY and grew up in that area. He joined the Army Air Force and trained as a pilot in 1942. He flew 15 missions during WW II, flying B-26’s and A-26’s in England, France and Belgium. He volunteered to go to the Pacific, but missions were canceled after the dropping of the atom bombs. Peter was discharged in 1945. After the war he worked as a senior investigator for the Equifax Corp., in the insurance claims and security field.
