Peter A. Pietrandrea, 92, formerly of West Haven, passed away peacefully on Jan. 12, 2013 in The Arden House, Hamden. He was the husband of the late Gilda Pomponi Pietrandrea. Mr. Pietrandrea was born in Supino, Italy on March 6, 1920, son of the late Luigi and Natalina Martini Pietrandrea. He was a retired cabinet maker. He is survived by his daughter, Joanne (Albert) Scafati of St. Petersburg, FL., formerly of North Haven; his son, Peter Pietrandrea of Branford; two grandchildren, Michael & Matthew Pietrandrea; Also survived by Domenica (Mimi) Tomei, , Cookie Tinari, Maria Martone & Nancy Tomei-Carey. Predeceased by a brother, Anthony Pietrandrea and a sister, Delores Pietrandrea. The family would like to recognize and thank the caregivers at Arden House for their care and attention.
