His hobbies were hunting, camping with his family and friends, playing guitar. One of his biggest hobbies was his pecan orchard. In his late 70s, he picked up a painters brush and started oil painting becoming quite the artist. He loved playing Mexican Train, woodworking, solving crossword puzzles and was Jack-of-all-trades.
Pete served in the Army at Fort Bliss TX during the Korean War. Later was employed at White Sands Missile Range, NM. He retired after 32 yrs service but not from life, enjoyed his retirement. In fact he used to say, “where did I have time to go to work.” He kept busy and never bored.
He was loved and respected by many and will be greatly missed and always be in our hearts.
