PETE C. CARLOS, 64, a Deming resident passed away Monday, March 28, 2016, at Sierra Medical Center in El Paso, Texas.
Pete was born January 31, 1952, in Deming to Socorro Chavez and David Carlos. He graduated from Deming High School in 1971 and later took some college courses at the Dona Ana Branch in 1991. Pete was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and used to enjoy playing golf. He always enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Pete had worked at Safeway and Furrs Grocery Stores, Mastec, and Tresco.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia of the home; son, Matthew Del Valle of Deming; 4 daughters, Angela Ochoa (Aaron) of Lovington, NM, April Carlos (Adriana) of Las Cruces, Crystal Tyquiengco (Sonny), Abigail Carlos all of Deming; 2 brothers, Jesus Manuel Carlos (Amanda), David Carlos (Betty) all of Deming and 9 grandchildren, Marleyna Ochoa, Victoria Ochoa, A.J. Ochoa, Mykal Carlos, Joaquin Tyquiengco, Kealanie Tyquiengco, Alexis Jimenez, Angel Jimenez, and Aubrey Jimenez.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents, sister Emelda Baca and brother Jesus Maria Carlos Sr.
