Mr. Perry Lee, age 66 of Cameron, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Sanford Health and Rehabilitation in Sanford, NC.

Perry Lee was born January 23, 1957, to the late James A. and Hattie J. Lee. He was preceded in death by his twin brother Terry Lee and sister, Dana Lee Monroe.

Perry received his education at Sanford Central High School. He was a proud member of the class of 1975. Perry was a dedicated employee of GKN Automotive for 34 years. He worked in the
Driveline & Precision Forming divisions.  When not at work, he was often thinking about work and the many lifelong friendships he formed with his team members. He was a very technical thinker and taught himself how to build personal computers.  He shared this love with others by building and repairing their computers, in his spare time. Music was another large part of Perry’s life. As a young adult he was a DJ at local parties and clubs. Some of his favorite artists were Luther Vandross, Sade, and Toni Braxton. He also loved spoiling his Shih Tzus. They were often seen not too far behind him. A true Aquarius to his core, Perry loved having deep discussions with others, had eccentric interests, and served as a humanitarian in his own special way.  One of his favorite quotes was “To thine own self be true” and he was true to himself in every breath that he took while on Earth. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, employee, mentor, and friend.  He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sheryl W. Lee of Sanford; one daughter, Erica J. Lee of Charlottesville, VA; one sister, Phyllis Chalmers (Larry) of Sanford, NC; six brothers,
Carlton Andre Lee of Sanford, NC, James Lee of Fayetteville, NC, Chris Lee (Gloria)Sanford, NC, Wayne Lee of Sanford, NC, Robert Lee (Tonya) of Sanford, NC, Charles Lee of Sanford, NC;
three aunts, Theresa J. Blue (Josiah) of Fayetteville, NC, Agnes Moore of Endfield, CT, and Doretha McLean of Sanford, NC; he also is survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, loving in-laws, and a host of long-time friends.
