Penne Sue (McClintock) Jordan, 66, of Franktown, Colorado passed away on March 26, 2022 in Lone Tree, Colorado.  Penne was born on July 23, 1955 in Seattle, Washington to the late Donald and Sharon Kathleen (Burns) McClintock.  She was raised in Seattle, attending Tyee High School and graduating in 1973, as well as attending Highline Community College in Seattle.  She graduated from West Seattle Beauty School in 1978 enjoying being a hair stylist for a number of years.  Later Penne attended Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado in the late 90’s taking classes towards a Microsoft Certified System Engineer degree. Penne certainly was a very loving wife, mother, and homemaker and she retired early from hairdressing in order to be at home to care for her husband after his life altering injury.

Penne and her twin sister Kandy were canine lovers! From the many dogs that always seemed to follow them home from grade school to their mysterious appearances in their home in later years, dogs were always a part of her life.  She belonged to many Great Dane and Boxer Clubs and participated in both AKC and UKC dog show events, finally finishing her AKC Champion Boxer, Merlin, in 2016.  While working as a hair stylist in Seattle in 1988, friends introduced her to a guy who would later become her husband. She had a Great Dane at the time, and so did he, thus beginning the Jordan Kennel.  Penne married her husband John Richard Jordan on April 28, 1990.  After marriage, and the later birth of their son, they made the long trip to Colorado where they would make their home. With the advent of home computers, she became fascinated by them and took advanced classes to improve her abilities with them.  She also began developing and maintaining web pages for her friends and dog clubs, all the while making sure that her husband and son were well taken care of.  She doted over her son to the extreme and loved going to see his sporting events, T-ball, soccer, and swim meets.  She did avoid his martial arts classes for fear of seeing him get hurt, but he succeeded in getting his black belt.

Penny is survived by her loving husband John Jordan of  Franktown, CO, her son John Jordan II, of Colorado Springs, CO, her mother, Sharon Kathleen (Burns) McClintock of Ocean Shores, WA, a brother Tony John (Maryann) McClintock, also of Ocean Shores, WA, a brother-in-law Thomas L. (Kathleen) Jordan of Sutton, AK, a sister-in-law Joyce A (Edgar) Oppenheimer of Burlington, MA, and many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, Donald Leroy McClintock and her identical twin sister, Kandy Dawn McClintock.
