Penelope Ellen (Roudebush) Campbell, 71, of Anderson, passed away on October 17, 2015, at Community Hospital Anderson.
She was born on September 3, 1944, in Anderson, where she resided most of her life. She worked for St. John’s hospital in the medical records department for several years.
After retirement, she started working part-time at Walmart, where she enjoyed meeting new people. She likes to watch NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon. Penny also liked to do all different crafts which included sewing, quilting, and knitting.She made gifts for everyone.
Penny is survived by her loving children, Candy (Kevin) Skinner of Yorktown, Sandy Campbell of Anderson, Wendy Campbell of Pendleton, Eric Campbell of Anderson, and Mindy (Paul) Elmes of Florida; grandchildren, Kody Skinner, Kayla Skinner, David Skinner, Tiffany Barker, Dallas Chambers, Erika Chambers, Derrick Campbell, Taylor Campbell, Drew Campbell, and Jeffery Smithers; four great-grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
Also, surviving is her brother, Robert (Annie) Roudebush, one niece and nephew, several cousins, and her three fur babies. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Iona Roudebush; step-mother, Katie Roudebush; brother, Fredrick Roudebush; and two nieces.
