Margaret Lee “Peggy” Ward, 74, of Lake City, passed away on Saturday evening, October 22, 2022 at the Haven Hospice – E.T. York Care Center in Gainesville after a brief illness. She was born in Jacksonville on December 9, 1947 to the late Jack Coleman Lee, Sr. & Margaret Stoddard Lee. She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School in 1965 and has made Lake City her home since the mid-1970’s.
She is survived by her children, Todd Ward (Annette), Rochelle Ward (Terry Butner) and Kristi Neal (Jon); and her brothers, Robert Lee (Karen) and Jack Lee, Jr. (Sharon). Four grandchildren, Terri Ward, Lucas Ward, Coleman Neal & Riley Neal along with one great-grandchild, Daniell Reyer also survive.
