Peggy Helen Ward, 74 of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away October 14th, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO surrounded by family. Peggy was born in Pittsburg, KS to Homer and Helen Spencer. She married Kenneth L Ward in November 1964 and he was later killed in an accident in 1980. Peggy attended Olathe School for the Deaf and later graduated from St. Mary’s High School class of 1964.
Also surviving are her 2 sons, Jeff (Jessica) Ward of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jay (Debbie)Ward of Pittsburg, KS, 11 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren whom she adored, Hannah (Ethan), Samantha, Tyler (Mikayla), Morgan, Noa, Kayla, Ashley (Jason), Kyla, Channing, Landen, Bryleigh, Alexa, Jameson, Keagan, Carter and Braylen and her sister Irene(David) Massoth of Pittsburg, KS. She also has several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Peggy was a devoted mother and Grandmother/Great-Grandma (GG)/Aunt and enjoyed teaching sign language to anybody, dancing and listening to music. As well as spending time with her brothers and sisters at the Kingdom Hall. Peggy was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in May 1974.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Brother David and Sister Martha.
