Peggy Ann (Clawson) Verble Sept. 20, 1948 to Dec. 29, 2017 It is with great sadness that the family of Peggy Ann Verble, age 69, announces her passing on Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at the Fireside House of Centralia Nursing Home in Centralia, Illinois. Peggy was born Sept. 20, 1948 in Des Moines, Iowa to Chester D. and Rufina A. (Hugo) Clawson. Peggy was married to Clarence L. Verble Dec 19, 1964 in Centralia, IL.
They were later divorced. Mrs. Verble is survived by a son, Daniel L. Verble of Coupeville, WA and a daughter, Jill C. (Verble) Lee of Walnut Hill, IL, plus seven grandchildren: Naomie Welshans of Coupeville, WA, Amanda Khale of Fairbury, IL, Bryan Verble and Kathryn Verble of Coupeville, WA, Danielle Bradley of Rantoul, IL and Cedric Bradley II and Trenton Lee of Walnut Hill, IL. Six great grandchildren: Joshua and Rebecca Robinson of Coupeville, WA, Joeseph Frazier of Fairbury, IL, Marley Molck, Dominic Ramirez, & Cruz Ramirez of Rantoul, IL A sister, Marsha J. Rowekamp of Shattuc. Mrs. Verble was preceded in death by her parents, step-dad Frank Sager, daughter in-law Laura L. Verble, brother in-law Bernard P. Rowekamp, three aunts, three uncles, and two cousins. Peggy worked at Wheaton Plastics for 30 plus years.
She was a very loving, compassionate person and a wonderful mother. She was a faithful member of the Lutheran denomination and most of all loved the Lord, her family and her companion chihuahuas, especially Peaches. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
