A Celebration of Life for Peggy Doris Scoggins Broadway, age 85, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022, will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Picayune.Visitation will be Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Picayune. Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.Dr. Tony Lambert and Rev. R.T. Buckley will officiate the service.A native of Mize, MS, she was the owner of Broadway Books and a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune. Peggy loved gardening, reading, and spending time with her family. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Clark Scoggins and Bertha Mae Parker Scoggins; her brother, Howard Rudolph Scoggins; and sisters, Blanche Robinson and Marie Scoggins.Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband of 65 years, Buddy Broadway; her sons, Brent Broadway and Bruce Broadway; 2 grandchildren, Brooke Broadway and Brandon Broadway; and her niece, Teresa Goolsby.In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church of Picayune Missions, 401 Goodyear Blvd., Picayune, MS 39466; or the Pearl River County SPCA, 1700 Palestine Road, Picayune, MS 39466
