Peggy West McQuain of Boerne, Texas entered into rest December 8, 2007. Peggy worked for 35 years for independent oil operator Johnny Mitchell, Battle Mountain Gold Co., and George Mitchell & Associates. She was involved for many years with the Darrell Royal/Willie Nelson Golf Tournament and the Secretary’s Club. She was a volunteer and gave her time to the Boys Club of Galveston, Inc. They enjoyed many years of traveling with the Monaco Want A Go RV Club and square dancing with the Hey Lollies. Peggy was a member of the Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Joe M. McQuain, cousin, Carole White of LA; step-sons, Kevin McQuain, wife Debra and family and Troy McQuain. The family would like to thank the nurses, aides, and staff at Riverview Home for their care and friendship, especially Rosalinda, Susan, and Natasha.
