Peggy M. Rivera, 66, of Keansburg, NJ, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022, Very Proud of her Cuban Heritage , Born in New York City, NY, she moved and grew up in Newark, NJ, then got married and lived in Pennsylvania, Garwood, and Keyport, before settling in Keansburg.
She was a Maintenance Supervisor for Verizon in New York City, NY. She is preceded in death by her husband Enrique Rivera II, her parents Fernando and Omaida (Toyos) Gomezmaicas, and her sister Terry.
Peggy will be forever missed by her loving family, son Enrique and his wife Areitha Rivera of Highland Park, NJ, brother Fred and his wife Joann DeCicco-Maicas, and her sisters; Rose ( Gomez maicas ) Shifman and Agnes and husband Dean (Gomezmaicas) Vivettoe. Her extended family Wanda, Hank, Alina and Ely Velez Sr, many cousins in Florida, California
Her Nephews, Michael (niece Karen) Freddie, Franco and Marc, Great niece Nidawi, Great Nephews Satori and Phoenix and many nieces & nephews. The family would like to thank Bayside Manor for the compassionate care given to Peggy. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made in Peggy’s name to the American Cancer Society.
