Peggy Louise Bell Christopher, 78, of Statesville, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Iredell County on June 27, 1933 to the late James Burl and Ethel Perry Bell.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Roy Lee Christopher; two sons, Michael Lee Christopher (Pam) of Union Grove and Jeffrey Lynn Christopher of Statesville; a daughter, Tonya B. Carson (Jeff) of Stony Point; four grandchildren, Jeremiah Christopher (Christina), Robbie Kay Taylor (Josh), Adam Christopher (Jessica) and Cody Christopher; and three great grandchildren, Eli, Macey and Miley Christopher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Talbert, and a brother, Jimmy Bell.
