Peggy Lenora (Finckbone) Higgins, 59 of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was born June 21, 1958, in Centralia, the daughter of Roy A. Finckbone and Peggy L. (Atchison) Finckbone. She married Eddie W. Higgins, Jr. on September 1, 1975, and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2016.
She has survived two children: Eddie W. Higgins, IV and wife Brezzy of Altamont and Suzan Miller and husband Brandon of Sandoval; four stepchildren: Eddie Higgins and wife Sherri of Centralia, Ethel Taylor of Centralia, Howard Higgins and girlfriend Ruth Hall of Centralia, Darrell Higgins of Anna, and Amanda Deadmond and husband Peanut of Sandoval; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren; two brothers: Lee Finckbone and wife Linda of Centralia and Orville Finckbone of Centralia; three sisters: Barbara Higgins and husband Herschel of Centralia, Arlene Stringer and husband Randy of Missouri, Jean Timmons and husband Mark of Missouri; a sister-in-law: Lillian Taylor of Jamul, CA; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, step-son: Richard Higgins, two step-daughters: Lynn Roberts and Linda Higgins, a sister: Margaret Ray, and father-in-law and mother-in-law: Eddie Higgins, Sr. and Ethel (Parks) Cole. Peggy’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her kids, grandkids, family, and friends.
