Obituary for Peggy Jean Jones Peggy Jean (Webster) Jones, age 73, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, nurse and counselor from Ft. Myers, FL peacefully passed away at Hope Hospice on December 31st, 2013.
Peggy was born July 12, 1940 in Vincennes, IN to Kanyon and Edith Webster. Peggy’s life on earth was centered around helping others. After receiving her nursing degree, she worked in all areas of nursing including private office, hospital, nursing home, home health and school. Peggy, then, earned her Masters in Counseling Psychology and established a private practice in Ft. Myers, where she helped clients for over twenty-five years until shortly before her passing. Peggy will be greatly missed by the individuals, families and communities she served.
She is survived by her children, sons Stephen Jones (Suda) and David Jones, daughter Cynthia Olson (Alan), a sister Patricia Provines (Larry) and a brother Charles Webster (Cynthia), six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces and nephews, and very dear friend, Buzz Moot. Peggy was proceeded in death by her parents, sisters Janice Patterson and Phyllis Webster
