Peggy A. Garito, 58, of Flagstaff died on April 28, 2010 at Olivia White Hospice Hone with her husband at her side. She passed after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born on October 25, 1951 in Dumont, NJ to Casey and Louise Carlevaro.
Peggy held various jobs throughout her lifetime working in the medical field and most recently with Northern Arizona University’s College of Education and Institution for Human Development. She was an active member of NAU’s Classified Staff Advisory Council throughout the years. Peggy was known for her humor, love, and tenacity. She was a member of the San Franscisco De Asis Parish.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Tom Garito, her daughter, Theresa Rogers, 2 beautiful grandchildren, her sister Ronni (Barbara), and her parents, Casey and Louise Carlevaro who will always remember her as very caring, loving, and one who always put others ahead of herself.
