Peggy Crace, a long- time resident of Libby, died Sunday the 30th of October after a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Wisconsin in 1924 and married Victor Virgil Crace upon his return from WW ll in 1944.

Peggy loved her children, grandchildren and many great grandchildren and was always ready for fishing, hunting, hiking or just curling up on the couch with them to watch a good movie or a favorite TV show.  No one can forget her spirit when she charged over a hilltop in Alaska to get a close up picture of a wild buffalo herd and her grandkids were not surprised when she was still hunting deer well into her 80’s.

She is survived by her children Diane Quick, Donna Stoffel and Victor Crace Jr.  Her surviving grandchildren are Bobbi Perry, Michael Smith, Bud Buller, Bryan Smith, Victor Crace Jr., Clark Crace, Brad Buller and Sara Elmore.  She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
