Peggy Peterson, 80, formerly of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at home in Melbourne, Florida. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Corbit (son-in-law Robert) of Melbourne, FL; sister Shirley Bridges, Nebraska; sister Janet Lehfeldt (Jerry), Oregon; Sharon Borega, Colorado; grandkids Sophie and Chester; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Peggy was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Vernon D. Peterson; parents Elmer John Cole and Elizabeth Cole of Lincoln, NE; and brother Elmer John Cole, Jr. of Lincoln, NE.
Peggy was a graduate of Northeast High School in Lincoln, NE. She spent most of her life living in Florida, Texas, or Colorado supporting her husband’s aerospace career and being a loving wife and mother.
