Pedro Jose Manuel Arce Lopez, age 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on September 27, 1935, in Matanzas, Cuba to the late Jose Maria Arce Bueras and Juana Lopez Vega.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a strong work ethic, and provided deeply for his family during his life. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He completed his Christian Initiation in 2013 and faithfully attended Mass at St. George Catholic Church (Newnan) with his wife, son, daughter in law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was known, loved, and looked upon kindly.
Pedro is survived by his wife of 63 years, Teresa De Jesus Berlinda Marcote Rodriguez; and son, Pedro Santo Arce and his wife, Marlene Arce; grandchildren, Howard Arce, Hardry Arce, and his wife, Alejandra Ramirez, and Darleine Arce; great-grandchildren, Hailey Arce, Taylor Arce, Katherine Arce, and Ethan Arce. Pedro is also survived by his cousins, Mireya Carmenate and Lucia ; nephews, Felix Jesus Arce, Jesus Arce, Humberto Perez and Ubaldo Perez, and niece, Laura Marta Arce.
