Mrs. Pecola Mann was born to the late Willie and Mary Norwood on January 9, 1939 in Marengo County, Alabama. At an early age, she confessed Christ and was baptized and United with St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Sweetwater, Alabama. She later joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Harpersville, Alabama and was a faithful member over the Cullnary Ministry and served faithfully on the Mission Society until her illness.
Mrs. Pecola was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Leroy Mann, Sr. to this union, they were blessed with eight children.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her children, Leroy (Audrey) Mann, Elaine (Bruce) Martin, Jerome (Belinda) Mann, Tabitha (O’Neal) Williams, Suzette (Eddie) Buie, Roderick (Shatara) Mann, Chinaware (Rogerick) Morgan, and Shannon (Marquis) Mcinnis; god-daughter, Dr. Eloise (Christopher) Bennett; one brother, Bishop David Norwood; one sister in law, Dorthena (Jimmy) Thomas; one brother in law, Elvis (Rita) Mann; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends
